If you have some water babies in your family, you’ll know that summer isn’t always kind to our hair. Swimming pool chlorine and salty sea water can leave hair dry and tangly, and children don’t fancy a lengthy hairdressing session when they get out of the water in the evening. Here are our top tips for skipping hairdressing headaches:
- Tie up long hair wherever possible!
- When you’re finished in the water, give hair a good rinse to leave any nasties behind.
- Use a wide-toothed comb for detangling, as brushes usually make things worse.
- Spritz Fresh Apple Detangling Spray evenly throughout damp hair and gently comb from the ends to the roots.
- For extra tough tangles, try applying Honey Cream Conditioner to wet hair before detangling.
- However tempting it is, don’t fall asleep on tangly wet hair – it’ll be a lot worse in the morning.
When the day comes to a close, persuading children to leave the pool or kid’s club and get ready for bedtime can be challenging. It’s a good idea to pack a few small treats for moments like these.
